Animal Care Tech.; Auto Tech.; Banking and Finance; Barbering; Business Enterprise; Computer Tech.; Construction Tech; Diesel Mechanic; Fashion Merchandising; Health Occup.; Medical Tech; and more. Note: Occupational Training Programs vary year by year.

9.                   We have an ETS (educational testing service) testing number for CLEP, SAT, etc.

10.               We offer advising to those families who have need.

11.               We have the honorary society known as The National Beta Club

12.               We have an Associated Student Body (ASB) Club

13.               We have a Lending Library with curriculum and other related material.

14.               We have a website.

15.               Our students have the opportunity to enter the Bakersfield College President’s Scholarship program after graduating from our high school if they meet the GPA requirements.

16.               We mail out a monthly newsletter of activities within EPHS as well as the calendar to keep you informed.

17.               We will keep you updated on dates, times and places of many of the tests that you may want your student to take. This information includes the PSAT, SAT, ACT, ITBS, EXPLORE, PLAN, SAT-10, etc. Some of these tests are offered by EPHS, others will be given by colleges and other organizations.

18.               You will receive a copy of our EPHS Family Handbook.

19.               Communication Meetings (optional) every month to keep you in touch with other families, and for specific training in special academic and related areas.

Requirements

 

  • Membership in Homeschool Legal Defense Association – (HSLDA)
  • Work samples from each subject submitted twice a year
  • Semester objectives submitted twice a year
  • Progress report submitted twice a year
  • Application must be completed, with your signature required, concurring with our Enrollment Agreement which includes our doctrinal and mission statements, standards of behavior, tuition and fees.
  • Three Family Meetings each year
